Every Girl Gets Confused

How can she choose between the love she thought she lost and the love she stumbled upon in the aftermath?

Katie Fisher and Brady James may be a match made in heaven, but that doesn’t seem to guarantee them a happily ever after accompanied by angelic choirs. Katie’s almost-fiancé Casey is back in Fairfield, ready to rekindle their relationship. And there’s nothing Katie’s parents want more than for their small-town girl to leave Dallas and come home for good.

But can she really leave Brady behind? And will she ever be able to wear that gorgeous wedding dress she won?

Quirky. Sugary Sweet. Romantic. All of those describe Janice Thompson’s latest novel, and I loved every page of it!

Janice Thompson’s new novel, Every Girl Gets Confused, reads just like a favorite romantic comedy. This light story, however, does have a wonderful message tucked into the pages. The message concerns the seasons we go through in our lives. Sometimes they are good, and sometimes they are a challenge, but there is always a purpose for them.

I really enjoyed this book. It was such a lighthearted story and it was a fast read. I for one, loved seeing where Katie, Brady, and Casey all ended up after the end of Thompson’s first novel of the Brides with Style series. However, if you haven’t read that first book, I certainly reccommend it before picking this one up.

“I’m learning to be happy no matter my circumstances. We don’t always get what we want, but God promises to make all things work together for our good.”

-Brady James, Every Girl Gets Confused
